District-Wide High Quality: While proud of schools like Ramsay and EPIC, my grandchildren at Washington K8 reinforce that excellence cannot be confined. Every Birmingham school must offer high-quality programs, arts, and CTE opportunities to all students.
Strengthening Middle and High Schools: We will focus on dedicated resources and innovative solutions for our traditional middle and high schools, ensuring they offer the same level of academic rigor and enriching experiences found in our magnet programs.

As a BCS parent, grandparent, and candidate for Birmingham Board of Education District 9, I bring a lifetime of dedication to our city's youth. With 28 years of experience as a music teacher and musical theatre director within Birmingham City Schools, I've had the privilege of working directly with students across many of our beloved institutions, including:

I am ready to lend my voice and expertise to ensure every child in Birmingham receives the exceptional education they deserve.
